LUKE,LU CTO & Co-Founder
Mr Luke Lu graduated from the School of Economic Information at the University of International Business and Economics, specialising in Economic Mathematics. Following graduation, he worked at Beijing Huaxun Information Technology Company, engaged in software development for the BP paging system. He subsequently joined the Chinese Language Software Research Institute at Peking University (later merged into Founder Group), where he served as one of the principal developers of the early Windows (3.X) Chinese platform—Chinese Star 2.0—and oversaw platform testing.
Subsequently, he co-founded Beijing Zhongwen Tiandi Software Research Institute. He was a principal developer of the Chinese language plug-in platform for graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop 3.5, 4.0; CorelDRAW 5.0, 6.0, 7.0; and PageMaker 5.0. Presided over the compilation and development of Font Treasure 1.0, creating the classic font library Chinese Character Font Library product which gained widespread adoption. Co-founded China's first batch of bookbinding design studios, Jingren Design Studio, with renowned designer Mr Lü Jingren, and established Beijing's first professional standard PC printing film output centre: Dianjing Studio. Around 1998, met and fell in love with Wang Na while working at Jingren Design Studio, eventually uniting as a couple.
Around 2002, he co-founded Beijing Golden Gourd Technology Development Co., Ltd. with partners including Beijing Normal University Press, leveraging advanced Chinese digital processing technology to serve China's K12 education informatisation. This marked the commencement of research and development for the Jinhulu product series. Subsequently, due to national regulations on public officials' shareholdings and other factors, Beijing Jinhulu Technology Development Co., Ltd. was dissolved. In 2006, he and his partner Wang Na jointly established Beijing Rongchuan Technology Group Co., Ltd., where he served as Technical Director and Head of Development. During this period, he led the development of the JINHULU K12 Education Information System, JINHULU Electronic Blackboard, JINHULU Electronic Textbook, Mongolian-Chinese Bilingual Teaching Resource Service, SHF Non-English Multimedia Information Presentation System, JINHULU Primary & Secondary School Electronic Library, and the China Grassland Nomadic Culture Symbol Digitalisation Project.
At NEO ROBOTICS, he primarily oversaw technical integration for the Chinese market and cooperative production base affairs, serving as the company's specific R&D lead.
